But these Cookies partially transfer certain information, which helps to automatically recognize you. This recognition takes place based on the IP address saved in Cookies. The information obtained in this way helps us to optimize our offers and allow easier access to our pages.

You can prevent the installation of Cookies through an appropriate setting of your browser; however, we draw your attention to the fact that in this case you will not be able to use certain functions of our web page to their maximum capacity.

CHAPTER 11 Server data

For technical reasons, we process, among others, the following data (so-called Serverlogfiles), which are communicated to us through your Internet browser or our webspace provider:

CHAPTER 11 The use of Google Analytics with the anonymization function

On our website, we use various services provided by Google Ireland Limited – it is the affiliate of Google (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) responsible for processing your information and complying with applicable privacy laws (referred to in the following “Google”).

We have implemented on our page Google Analytics, a web analysis service of the company Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter “Google”. Google Analytics uses so-called “Cookies”, text data that are saved on your computer and thus allow the analysis of the use of the web page.

The information generated by these Cookies, such as the duration, location and frequency of visiting the web pages, including the IP address, will be transmitted to Google in the USA and saved there.

We use Google Analytics with the extension “_gat._anonymizeIp” on our website. In this case, your IP address will be shortened and thus anonymized by Google for the member states of the European Union or for the other member states of the European Economic Area.

Google will use this information to evaluate the use of our website in order to generate website activity reports and to provide other services related to the use of the website and the Internet. It is possible for Google to transmit this information to third parties, as long as it is allowed by the legislation in force or third parties can process this data on behalf of Google.

According to its own declarations, Google will under no circumstances connect your IP addresses with other Google data. You can prevent the installation of Cookies through an appropriate setting of your browser; however, we draw your attention to the fact that in this case you will not be able to use certain functions of our web page to their maximum capacity.

Google continues to offer for the most common browsers a deactivation Add-on, which gives you more control over the data that Google can process through the web pages you access. The Add-on sends the message to JavaScript (ga. js) of Google that no information should be sent to Google Analytics regarding access to the website. However, the deactivation add-on for the Google Analytics browser does not prevent the transmission of information to us or to other web analysis services indicated by us. You can get additional information about installing a Browser Add-on from the following link:

https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

CHAPTER 12 Use of Meta Platforms components

We use on our page components of the provider Facebook.com and Instagram.com. These are services of Meta Platforms Inc., One Hacker Way Menlo Park, CA 94025 USA.

Every time you open our web page, which is set with such a component, it is allowed that the browser you use downloads a certain image of the Facebook component. Through this procedure, Facebook takes note of which specific pages are visited at that moment through our presence on the Internet.

If you access our pages and are logged in at the same time on Facebook, it will recognize the information collected through these components, which specific pages were accessed, allocating all this information to your personal Facebook account. For example, if you press the “I like” button or post certain comments, this information will be transferred to your personal Facebook account and saved there. In addition, Facebook will receive the information that you have visited our page. This happens regardless of whether you clicked on the components or not.

If you want to prevent the transfer and saving of data about you and your behavior on our web page through Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our page. The instructions regarding the protection of data on Facebook provide you with more information, especially regarding the collection and use of data through Facebook, your rights in this regard and the setting methods for the protection of your private sphere https://de-de.facebook.com /about/privacy/.

At the same time, there are various external tools on the market, with which you can block Facebook-Social-Plugins with Add-ons for the most common browsers: http://webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker/.

An overview of Facebook-Plugins can be found here  https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

CHAPTER 12 Using LinkedIn and What’s up recommendation components

We use components of the LinkedIn network on our website, which is a service of LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Every time you open our web page, which is set with such a component, it is allowed that the browser you use downloads a certain image of the LinkedIn component.

Through this procedure, LinkedIn learns which specific pages are visited at that moment through our presence on the Internet. If you click on the “Recommend-Button” in LinkedIn while you are logged in to your LinkedIn account, you can connect the content of the pages with your LinkedIn profile. In this way, LinkedIn can assign the visit to our web pages to your LinkedIn user account.

We cannot influence either the data that is processed by LinkedIn, nor the volume of data processed by LinkedIn. We have no knowledge of the content of data that is communicated to LinkedIn. Details on the collection of data by LinkedIn, as well as your rights and setting methods can be found in the indications on data protection on LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.

CHAPTER 13 Inserts on social networks

Our services use social network plugins (“plugins”). When you use a service that contains plugins, information can be transferred directly from your device to the social network operator. We have no influence on the data collected by the Plugin. If you are connected to the social network, your use of our service may be referred to your social network account. If you interact with plugins, for example, by clicking “Like”, “Follow” or “Share”, or enter a comment, the information may automatically appear in your social network profile. Even if you are not logged in to your social network account, it is possible for plugins to transmit your IP address to social network operators. Please take this into account when using the web pages. For information about social network operators of plugins used in our services (“operators”), please see the information below.

Our website uses buttons for the following social networks

  • Facebook, Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, SUA
  • Instagram LLC,1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025

The buttons display the logos of the individual social networks. However, the buttons are not standard social plugins, i.e. plugins provided by social networks, but links with button icons. These buttons are activated only by deliberate actions (click). As long as you do not click on the buttons, no data will be transferred to the social networks. By clicking on the buttons, you accept the communication with the social network servers, thus activating the buttons and establishing the link.

Once clicked, the button works as a shared plugin. The social network obtains information about the site you visited, which you can share with your friends and contacts. You must be logged in to share information. If you are not logged in, you will be redirected to the login page of the social network you clicked on, thus leaving the tuev-sued.de pages. If you are connected (a), the “similar” message or the recommendation of the article in question will be sent.

When you activate the button, the social networks will also receive the information that you accessed the respective page of our website and when you did so. In addition, information such as the IP address, details about the browser you used and language settings can be transmitted. If you click on the button, your click will be transferred to the social network and used in accordance with the data policy.

When you click on the button, we have no control over the collected data and data processing operations. We are not responsible for this data processing, nor are we the “controller” as defined in the GDPR. Nor are we aware of the full extent of data collection, legal basis, purposes and storage periods. Considering this, the information provided here is not necessarily complete.

The data will be transmitted regardless of whether you actually have an account with this provider or if you are connected there. If you are connected to the provider, your data will be assigned directly to your account. Providers can also use cookies on their computers to track you.

As far as we know, these providers store this data in user profiles that they use for advertising, market research, and/or demand-oriented design. This type of analysis is performed (also for users who are not connected) to present demand-oriented advertising and to inform other users of the social network of the activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles. To exercise your right to appeal, please contact the respective supplier.

Consult the information provided by the following social media sites for details about the purpose and purpose of data collection and about the processing and subsequent use of data by the respective social network and about your privacy rights and settings:

We specify that we do not exercise any influence on the collected data and data processing operations, nor are we aware of the exact extent of data collection, the purpose of processing or retention periods. We also have no information about how the data collected by Facebook can be deleted.

Through plugins, we give you the opportunity to interact with social networks and other users, so that we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of inserts is Art. (6)(1)(f) of the GDPR.

You can completely prevent inserts from loading using add-ons for your browser, so-called script blockers.
